What RFE means
An RFE pauses adjudication. The petitioner usually has up to 87 days to respond, and USCIS issues a decision after reviewing the response.
Common H-1B RFE topics are specialty occupation, wage level and the employer-employee relationship. On Gale, RFE responses are usually included in the flat fee.
